Aims & Scope
Natural Products Analysis publishes original research articles, mini-reviews, and comprehensive reviews about the analysis of natural products from various sources, e.g., animals, marine organisms, microbes, and plants. It publishes new methods and substantially new applications of known techniques for natural products analysis. This journal is not restricted to medicinal natural products but natural products with various other applications, e.g., food and agriculture. Novelty, either in the methods or applications, is the fundamental requirement for publishing original research articles in this journal. Routine extraction, isolation, structure elucidation, and bioactivity testing are not encouraged in this journal.
Natural Products Analysis is a unique platform for disseminating research findings and advancement of knowledge in analytical and instrumental methodology relevant to natural products research. Mini-reviews and reviews are usually by invitation only, but the Editor-in-Chief encourages submission of ideas for new review topics for consideration. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Aims
- To serve as the most efficient, high-quality, and unique platform for disseminating research findings highlighting new developments and new applications of analytical techniques and methodologies relevant to the analysis of natural products from ALL sources.
- To publish articles that will positively impact the quality, output, and efficiency of natural products analysis.
- To promote cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and ecologically sound methods (“green analysis”) in natural products analysis.
Scope
The scope of this journal encompasses a wide range of methods and techniques for the classification, detection, storage, degradation, extraction, separation, purification, identification, quantification, quality control, assessment of applications, and pharmacokinetics of compounds from natural sources. The coverage incorporates physical and chemical analytical methodology as well as in vitro, in vivo, and in silico assay methods. This journal is not restricted to medicinal natural products but natural products with various applications, e.g., food and agriculture.
