Materials and Interfaces Journal to Sponsor CATL Division Symposium: "The Role of Fundamental Interfacial Processes in Electrocatalysis" at ACS Spring Meeting 2025

We are excited to announce that Materials and Interfaces journal will be sponsoring the ACS Spring 2025 CATL (Catalysis Science and Technology) Division Symposium titled "The Role of Fundamental Interfacial Processes in Electrocatalysis".

About CATL:

The goal of the Catalysis Science and Technology (CATL) Division is indeed to bridge the gap between the more fundamental aspects of catalysis, such as surface science and computational modeling, and applied catalytic reaction engineering. https://www.acs-catalysis.org/about

Details of the Sponsorship:

  • Event: ACS Spring Meeting 2025
  • Specific Sponsorship: Sponsorship of 3 Young Investigator Awards for the symposium.
  • Award Title:Materials and Interfaces Outstanding Presentations by Young Investigators”

The selection of awardees will be managed by the symposium organizers, in collaboration with Prof. Younan Xia, Editor-in-Chief of Materials and Interfaces. The awards will prioritize the following categories of young researchers:

  • Graduate students
  • Postdoctoral researchers
  • Assistant professors

These awards are intended to recognize and support the outstanding contributions from young investigators in the field of interfacial processes in electrocatalysis.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of these promising young researchers at the ACS Spring Meeting 2025.
