We are excited to announce that the Materials and Interfaces journal will be sponsoring the ACS Spring Meeting 2025 COLL (Colloid and Surface Chemistry) Division Symposium, titled "Surface Chemistry of Colloidal Nanocrystals: A Tribute to the Legacy of Dr. Dong Qin."

Tribute to Dr. Dong Qin

Dr. Dong Qin, Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, with an adjunct appointment in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GT), passed away on November 30, 2023. She made significant contributions to several research areas (see: https://www.nanodq.com/), with particular emphasis on nanocrystal surface chemistry. We are deeply saddened by her passing and honor her remarkable legacy.

We look forward to sharing the latest scientific advancements in colloidal nanocrystal surface chemistry with our global peers at the ACS Spring 2025.
